Ontario Counterbalance Forklift Training - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift refers to a forklift together with a weight which counters the balance, allowing the weight of the load to be spread evenly across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are made so the weight behind the center of gravity is counterbalanced by the weight on the lift. The load is projected out from the front of the equipment so it is visible to the operator of the forklift. This particular kind of forklift truck should only be used on stable, level ground or on a prepared surface.
Forklift operators are required to obtain training that would allow them to better understand the proper or right method across the arms of the forklift. The trainee will learn to properly raise and lower the load vertically and how to tilt the lift truck mast, moving the mast between 5 and 15 degrees both forwards and backwards. Trainees would know the RTITB standards required for safely operating the forklift. Individuals training would also become familiar with the types of attachments for the forklift arms.
